There is scorching on the hull indicative of light weapons damage, and the facility appeared to be stuck in some kind of feedback loop. Description
We were wrong. The station orbiting … is not uninhabited; instead, it is crawling with giant alien arthropoids! The probes we deployed into the station only returned skittering shadows and large mandibles before signal was lost. Deep scans of the station have also revealed what we postulate to be an incredibly complex databank. To reach this databank, we would have to go through that cluster of many-legged defenders.
