Description
… discovered an underground facility housing more of our kin in stasis, and successfully awakened them. Unlike us, they retain faint memories of their previous lives, and are sustained by stories of a great space empire that might one day return to rescue them.
They are cautious but recognize us as kin. We could present ourselves as their long-awaited saviors, heirs to that ancient glory. Or we could tell the truth: we are forging something new, and as eager to learn from them as we are to teach.
Additional references in these archives allowed us to narrow down a second candidate with stasis pods.
